Support for Neurodiverse & Nonspeaking Individuals

This service is designed for neurodiverse, nonspeaking, and other individuals who may benefit from mindful, body-based approaches to regulation and connection. Sessions combine trauma-informed mindfulness, adaptive yoga therapy, and practical coping skills to meet clients exactly where they are — without pressure, judgment, or expectation. This offering provides individualized care rooted in science, compassion, and deep presence.

Mindfulness practices are adapted to meet each client exactly where they are — whether they’re nonspeaking, hypersensitive, or processing the world in their own unique way. Through simple breathwork, sensory awareness, and grounding techniques, clients learn how to notice what’s happening in their bodies without overwhelm or pressure. These practices help build internal safety, reduce anxiety, and foster present-moment awareness. Everything is offered with consent, flexibility, and attunement to the client’s comfort level.

Yoga therapy is more than just movement — it’s a gentle, body-informed approach to regulation and connection. These sessions are fully adaptive and trauma-informed, designed to work with a range of physical, neurological, and emotional needs. Movements may be seated, supported, or minimal — always tuned to what feels safe and appropriate for the client. Yoga therapy supports nervous system balance, body awareness, and the development of safe patterns of movement and rest.

Coping skills are introduced through visual aids, rhythm, breath, somatic tools, and repetition — all tailored to the individual’s sensory and communication needs. These strategies are designed to help clients navigate overwhelm, big emotions, or moments of shutdown with more support and self-agency. Sessions often include collaborative work with caregivers, so that tools can be practiced consistently outside of the session and integrated into everyday life.
